Job summary

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) is seeking a Commercial Manager for Line Maintenance Overseas Customers. Based at Hong Kong International Airport, you will drive contract renewals, lead RFPs and develop business proposals to support profitability and market share.

You will also lead financial forecasts, prepare KPI reports, monitor market trends and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential; aviation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline; business/management background is an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years in customer relations/marketing, preferably aviation.
• Excellent English and Chinese; strong presentation skills.
• Knowledge of contracting procedures (IATA SGHA) is an advantage.

• Guide contract renewal and expansion plans for Line Maintenance overseas customers.

Position Description

What You\'ll Do

• Guide development and implementation of contract renewal and expansion plans of Line Maintenance overseas customers
• Lead RFP response processes, development of business proposals and compilation of Financial Deal Summary (FDS)
• Lead financial forecasts to achieve corporate and departmental objectives
• Contribute to achievement of profitability and market share in accordance with budget and work plan
• Prepare KPI reports / business review for presentation to internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor and understand competition landscape, sales activities and market trends
• Lead commercial proposal compilation to meet profitability target taking into consideration of market and customer intelligence from Group Commercial, and the entity’s business strategy
• Establish and maintain relationships with key strategic partners (e.g. HAMA, AOC) and service providers partners (e.g. HAS and HACTL) of Hong Kong International Airport
• Represent company at trade association meetings (e.g. IATP or other trade events)
• Comply with applicable operating and internal control procedures

What You\'ll Need

• Recognized degree in any disciplines, business / management related an advantage
• Minimum of 6 years of customer relations / marketing experience, preferably in aviation industry
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong prioritizing and organization skills to delegate and accomplish assigned tasks within required timeframe
• Knowledge of contracting procedures (e.g. IATA SGHA or Aviation GTA) and negotiation techniques is an advantage
• A good team player with strong leadership skills
• Customer focus and results driven
• Production knowledge in line or base maintenance is an advantage
• Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
