Job summary

Apis Nandi Insurance Brokers in New Delhi seeks an Insurance Business Development professional to build a strong corporate client pipeline, conduct research on client risk profiles, and reach decision-makers such as CFOs and risk managers.

You will review existing contracts, present tailored insurance solutions, and maintain ongoing client liaison with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and informed decision-making.

Role & responsibilities

• Prospecting & Research: Actively identify and build a pipeline of prospective corporate clients. Conduct in-depth research into their business models, industry-specific risks, and market positioning.
• Client Outreach: Initiate and establish contact with key decision-makers (such as CFOs, Risk Managers, and HR Heads) through networking, cold outreach, and industry events.
• Needs Assessment: Engage deeply with clients to understand their operational risks, business objectives, and specific insurance requirements.
• Contract Review & Gap Analysis: Carefully review and analyze clients' existing insurance contracts and policies to identify coverage gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for cost or protection optimization.
• Solution Presentation: Educate clients on various insurance solutions, specialized coverages, and risk mitigation strategies tailored to properly protect their specific portfolios.
• Client Liaison & Relationship Management: Maintain continuous, high-quality communication with clients. Act as the bridge between the client and our internal operations/placement teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Technical Advisory: Provide ongoing technical and professional support, sharing industry knowledge, regulatory updates, and risk management insights to empower clients in their decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. (Certifications or degrees in Insurance/Risk Management are a strong plus).
• Experience: Proven experience in B2B marketing, corporate sales, or client relationship management, preferably within the insurance, banking, or financial services sector.
• Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills required to dissect complex insurance contracts and understand diverse corporate risk profiles.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present technical solutions to C-suite executives.
• Drive & Autonomy: A self-starter with a proactive approach to research, networking, and business development.
