Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in India is seeking a procurement & supplier management professional with strong process planning and tool design knowledge in mechanical systems, preferably from aerospace/defence domains.

You will coordinate with suppliers for machining, fabrication, and special processes, monitor performance, ensure QMS and ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance, prepare purchase orders, and drive on-time delivery in support of complex sub-system contracts.

Job description

• Good Process Planning knowledge in Mechanical systems / sub-systems & components, preferably from Aerospace, Space and Defence domain
• SOund Knowledge of Tool design for Mechnical Subsytems
• Good Knowledge in Engineering software's like UG, Hyper Mill & Solid works. Knowledge in Developing Jigs / Fixtures for Mechanical & Welded subassemblies
• Experience in identify / developing Robust Supply chain Partners in Machining / Fabrication & Special process .To establish & handle EPC (Sub-system / system) kind of contracts with Suppliers/Partners.
• Monitor & Improve the supplier performance with respect to Quality , Cost, Delivery.
• Hands on experience in MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) & ERP systems like BAAN / SAP.
• Domain Knowledge in ISO 9001 & AS 9100 systems preferred.
• Ensuring the manufacturing ToT to supplier's & ensure FTR in their processes.
• Strong Technical knowledge. risk assessment, analysis and mitigation for such kind of contracts.
• Ensure compliances to requirement of Corporate, Regulatory, QMS guidelines
• Knowledge on procurement of Mechanical Propulsion system/sub-systems as per project requirements.
• Prepare the Purchase order with schedule and manage the delivery as per project Requirements.
• Ready to work in challenging environment, resolve Vendor related techno-commercial issues in co-ordination with team members of other functions.
• Should be Dynamic, Agile with Good communication skill, self-driven, good trouble-shooter.
