Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is looking for a manufacturing technician in Maharashtra, India to support set-up, calibration, testing and production operations on basic equipment.

You will follow blueprints and schematics to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met, while assisting the team in maintaining equipment and contributing to continuous process improvements. Responsibilities

• Performs basic activities to assist in manufacturing and assembling products per established processes.
• Operates basic production equipment and tools for manufacture, assembly and packaging.
• Follows blueprints, diagrams and schematics to meet specifications and tolerance levels.
• Assists manufacturing team in modifying equipment or designing improvements for process optimization and quality checks.

Performs basic activities to assist in manufacturing and assembling various products per established facility processes including set-up, calibration, testing, maintenance, and production operation.

Job Requirements

• Conducting basic equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustained production.
• Operating basic production equipment and tools in the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of various products.
• Following blueprints, guidelines, diagrams and schematics to ensure product and customer specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Assisting as part of manufacturing team in modifying existing equipment or designing new equipment for continual manufacturing process improvement, as well as quality control and in-process production testing.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Typically requires 3-4 years or more of related work experience. Requires high school diploma. Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.
