Job summary

TE Connectivity India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and manufacturing machinery in Bengaluru. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of related work experience.
• Education preferred as B.E or B.Tech, vocational training or AA degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic maintenance and preventive maintenance on facilities and manufacturing machinery for assigned areas.
• Repairs, reassembles and installs equipment, plumbing or carpentry using manpower and tools.
• Inspects, operates and tests machinery to determine malfunctions and selects corrective actions.
• Keeps work orders, preventive maintenance sheets and repair logs up to date.

Job Requirements

• Recording maintenance or repair work malfunctions; ensuring compliance with organizational safety and maintenance policies.
• Repairing, reassembling, and installing various equipment, machinery, plumbing, carpentry, etc., using manpower and powered tools.
• Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery or equipment to determine malfunctions and deciding on appropriate solutions to correct them.
• Ensuring all work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, repair logs, and related documents are completed to reflect work performed.

What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related work experience. Education, B.E ot B.Tech Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
