Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a CAD engineer to support small-scale projects by creating 3D models and 2D drawings with tolerancing using Creo.

You will perform EBOM creation in Creo and Pdmlink, interact with manufacturing and product engineering to understand tolerance requirements, and ensure documentation complies with ISO/IATF standards. The role requires 1–2 years of experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of work experience.
• Ability to generate 3D models and 2D drawings with tolerancing.
• Create new drawings and 3D models of components in Creo.
• EBOM creation in Creo/Pdmlink.
• Interact with Manufacturing and product engineering to understand tolerance requirements.
• Prepare & release drawings per TE standard before releasing to DSD.
• Reverse engineering - create 2D drawings and 3D models from samples.
• Maintain documents per ISO/IATF standards.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• 1 to 2 years’ of work experience
• Ability to generate 3D models, 2D drawings with tolerancing.

Understand Engineering requirements and create new Drawings & 3D modeling of new components in Creo.

• EBOM creation in Creo/ Pdmlink
• Interact with Manufacturing and product engineering to understand the tolerance requirements.
• Updating and releasing the drawings to DSD with the design changes mentioned in the ECR/ECO. Creation of ECR/ECO in Pdmlink as required
• Prepare & check drawings per TE standard before releasing to DSD for customer/vendor supplied documentation
• Reverse engineering -Creation of 2D drawings and 3D models by measuring the physical samples using measuring instruments. Conversion of Auto Cad, Tiff or Hand drawings to Creo models & drawings
• Maintain documents as per ISO/IATF requirements.
