Job summary

TE Connectivity plc is seeking a maintenance technician to perform basic routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and manufacturing machinery at our Bengaluru site. You will record activities, inspect equipment, and ensure safety and compliance with maintenance policies.

Typically 6+ years of related experience and BE/B.Tech education are expected; vocational training or AA degree preferred. Strong communication skills are essential.

Education: BE or B.Tech.
Vocational training or AA degree preferred.
Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform basic routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and manufacturing machinery.
Record maintenance and repair work, and ensure safety compliance.
Inspect, operate, test equipment to identify malfunctions and select solutions.
Maintain work orders, PM sheets, and repair logs.

Job Overview

Performs basic activities in the routine and preventive maintenance at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned area(s).

Job Requirements

• Recording maintenance or repair work malfunctions; ensuring compliance with organizational safety and maintenance policies.
• Repairing, reassembling, and installing various equipment, machinery, plumbing, carpentry, etc., using manpower and powered tools.
• Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery or equipment to determine malfunctions and deciding on appropriate solutions to correct them.
• Ensuring all work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, repair logs, and related documents are completed to reflect work performed.

What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related work experience.

Education, B.E ot B.Tech

Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
