Job summary

Posha, based in Bengaluru with extended rotations in China, is building production-grade consumer robots for home use. The role owns the manufacturing process, collaborating with design and QA to scale production across a contract manufacturer in China while ensuring robust instructions on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing/process engineering experience and NPI exposure, plus willingness to spend extended periods on a factory floor in China.

Responsibilities

• You'll decide how every part gets made — and change the design so it can be. Sheet metal, castings and plastics.
• Reviewing our drawings for DFM and DFA, and winning the argument with the design engineer when the part needs to change.
• You'll be on our contract manufacturer's floor in China, with their operators and their equipment, getting a process set up while holding no formal authority over anyone in it.
• You'll turn our assembly instructions into work instructions that actually hold.

What can I expect from this role?

Posha is one of the rare robotics startups building production-grade consumer robots, with hundreds of units deployed in real homes.

You own the process of manufacturing. (QA owns the outcome.) You'll be based in Bengaluru with extended rotations in China.

What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha?
