Job summary

Posha in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Quality Engineer to own QA across all subsystems for its robotics products. You will work with suppliers, set tolerances, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria to ensure production quality as we scale.

The role requires deep knowledge of GD&T, FAI/PPAP, AQL, and root-cause analysis, plus willingness to spend extended periods in China on the factory floor with our CM and suppliers in Shenzhen/Dongguan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing quality at a hardware product company; hands-on supplier work rather than pure inspection.
• Strong fundamentals: tolerances, GD&T, FAI / PPAP, AQL, control plans, root‑cause analysis.
• Experience setting up quality processes at a contract manufacturer, not just enforcing existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Own quality assurance and control across all subsystems — sheet metal chassis, plastics, PCBA, induction/thermal, camera and opto-mechanical — through development and production.
• Define quality processes and inspection requirements per part: tolerances, control plans, AQL sampling, FAI, PPAP, acceptance criteria.
• Manage non-conformance dispositions end-to-end — root cause, corrective action, supplier follow-through, escalation.
• Sit on the factory floor in China with our CM and suppliers to set up the processes that hold quality unit after unit.
