Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 1–3 years of experience, with hands-on skills in PLC/SCADA/HMI, MES/ERP, IIoT, and data visualization through Power BI or Tableau. You will collaborate with IT, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering/computer science with 1–3 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing concepts.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems on the shop floor.
  • Experience with MES and ERP systems integration and data exchange.
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python, SQL, C#, or Java.
  • Knowledge of IIoT, sensors, and data acquisition.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Awareness of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing smart manufacturing and plant digitization initiatives.
  • Support deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies across production lines.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze manufacturing data from equipment and processes.
  • Develop dashboards to monitor production KPIs using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Support real-time performance monitoring of manufacturing operations.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to reduce downtime and scrap.
  • Integrate machines with MES, SCADA, ERP, and IoT platforms.
  • Ensure plant cybersecurity and IT/OT security compliance.
  • Maintain documentation for digitization projects and audits.
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and Engineering teams.

  • Understanding of databases and data visualization tools such as: Power BI and Tableau
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing smart manufacturing and plant digitization initiatives.

  • Participate in digital transformation projects aimed at improving efficiency and productivity
  • Collect, validate, and analyze manufacturing data from equipment and processes.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor production KPIs.
  • Support real-time performance monitoring of manufacturing operations.
  • Identify trends and improvement opportunities using production data.
  • Assist in integrating machines with MES, SCADA, ERP, and IoT platforms.
  • Support connectivity between shop floor equipment and business systems.
  • Help maintain digital manufacturing software applications.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, scrap, and process variation.
  • Participate in Lean, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Support root cause analysis using manufacturing data.
  • Create and maintain Power BI or similar visualization dashboards.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor and maintain plant KPI data viz. productivity, loss time, loss time analysis, manpower planning.
  • Follow plant cybersecurity standards for connected devices.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT and OT security policies.
  • Maintain documentation for digitization projects and system changes.
  • Work with Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and Engineering teams.
  • Provide technical support during implementation of digital solutions.
  • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Maintain Audit documentation for Quality and IMS audits for the manufacturing plant
