Process & Manufacturing Engineering Lead

Project Role Description

Lead and plan manufacturing engineering programs. Lead teams of engineers who define processes to fabricate, assemble, inspect and test new products and machines based on production engineering and design principles. Define the supporting tools and fixtures needed for production. Ensure teams are developing product specifications and define the quality standards and inspection methods for manufacturing products and machines.

As a Technology Industry Architect, you will bridge complex industrial utility domain knowledge with cutting-edge digital technology, translating operational and sustainability challenges into scalable, future-ready solutions for clients. You will work with client leadership teams and Accenture's global technology ecosystem to architect and deliver transformative solutions across the industrial utility and energy management value chain.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Contribute to the design and shaping of digital transformation solutions for industrial utility and energy management operations, bringing domain context and sustainability focus.
  • Support the development of solution blueprints covering OT/IT integration, energy and utility management platforms, and industrial AI.
  • Engage in Digital Twin and simulation-based initiatives for utility system modelling, energy optimisation, and carbon footprint reduction.
  • Engage with CXO and senior client stakeholders, including Plant Directors and Chief Sustainability Officers, to shape utility digitalisation and sustainability roadmaps.
Professional & Technical Skills
  • Must Have Skills: Industrial utility and energy management operations experience across utility monitoring, EMS/BMS integration, SCADA/DCS/PLC, or sustainability and carbon management.
  • Knowledge of Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) implementation and optimisation.
  • Familiarity with standards including ISO 50001, ISO 14001, GHG Protocol (Scope 1/2/3), ISA-95/ISA-88, and IEC 62443.
  • Experience with Industrial IoT, edge computing, and utility platforms such as Siemens EnergyIP, ABB Ability, Honeywell Forge, or Schneider Electric EcoStruxure.
  • Exposure to Industrial AI/ML applications such as predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and carbon emission modelling.
Additional Information

The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial utility and energy management operations.

This position is based at our Bengaluru/Pune office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
