Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Eng with 1–3 years experience.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing concepts.
  • Exposure to MES, ERP, PLCs, SCADA and HMI systems.
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python/SQL/C#/Java.
  • Knowledge of IIoT, sensors, data acquisition and visualization tools.
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing smart manufacturing and digitization initiatives.
  • Support Industry 4.0 tech across production lines.
  • Participate in digital transformation to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze manufacturing data from equipment.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for production KPIs.
  • Support real-time performance monitoring of operations.
  • Identify trends and opportunities from production data.
  • Integrate machines with MES/SCADA/ERP/IoT platforms.
  • Ensure connectivity between shop floor and business systems.
  • Maintain digital manufacturing software applications.
  • Help reduce downtime, scrap, and process variation.
  • Engage in Lean/Kaizen/Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Support root cause analysis using manufacturing data.
  • Create Power BI or similar dashboards.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor plant KPI data viz: productivity, loss time, planning.
  • Adhere to plant cybersecurity standards and IT/OT policies.
  • Maintain documentation for digitization projects and changes.
  • Collaborate with Production/Maintenance/Quality/IT/Engineering teams.

Position - Manufacturing Process Digitization Engineer

Location: Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Aurangabad, India

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering with 1-3 years of Experience

Skills
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing concepts.

  • Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and ERP systems

  • Work with Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and Engineering teams.
  • Provide technical support during implementation of digital solutions.Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Maintain Audit documentation for Quality and IMS audits for the manufacturing plant
