• Knowledge of Delmia and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of assembly fixture design and small-tool design.
• PFMEA/MFMEA for equipment.

Job description

• Analyze product feasibility and process flow for vehicle assembly and provide feedback to R&D
• Conduct Delmia/tool simulations and finalize tool configurations
• Plan trim, chassis, and final assembly processes in digital manufacturing
• Perform technical analyses and supplier comparisons
• Integrate the vehicle assembly functional area for projects
• Implement global manufacturing strategies, especially BOP and BOE
• Prepare manufacturing strategies for new product development
• Prepare and optimize capital budgets based on product assumptions and process synergies
• Understand new products using PALS and PDB
• Conduct simulation studies and provide real-time feedback to designers
• Conduct virtual builds to identify packaging issues upfront
• Lead and establish process-planning activities and DCP documentation
• Ensure digitalization and standardization of project activities
• Develop line and logistics layouts while securing stakeholder alignment
• Plan, procure, and establish FTG and spares for manufacturing new products
• Prepare and follow equipment PFMEA/MFMEA
• Obtain design approval for required systems and track projects
• Support production with day-to-day activities and smooth implementation of installed equipment
• Implement projects across multiple plant locations as needed
• Design assembly fixtures and small tools using concept knowledge and sequencing

Requirements

• 2 to 8 years of experience in TCF production, assembly line, plant engineering, manufacturing engineering, simulation, or SE
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production; Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production; or Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production
• Experience in vehicle assembly and digital manufacturing
• Knowledge of Delmia and simulation tools
• Knowledge of assembly fixture design and small-tool design
• Concept knowledge and sequencing experience
• Ability to perform technical analysis and supplier comparisons
• Ability to prepare and follow PFMEA/MFMEA for equipment
• Ability to support project implementation across multiple plant locations
• Preferred industry experience in engineering, automobile manufacturing
