Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage product configuration and ensure lifecycle integrity.

• Review drawings, BOMs, specs, and technical data.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer Aerospace Configuration Management to manage product configuration, engineering changes, and technical data control across aerospace programs. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring configuration integrity throughout the product lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement through process automation and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product configuration and ensure configuration integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
• Handle customer and internal engineering changes, including ECNs and related change management activities.
• Lead cross-functional team (CFT) meetings and drive timely implementation of engineering changes.
• Review and manage customer technical data such as drawings, BOMs, parts lists, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Program teams for change implementation.
• Manage aerospace documentation, revision control, and technical data received through OEM portals.
• Work on SAP for BOM, material master, and change implementation activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, digitization, and automation.
• Generate reports, analyse data, and support decision-making using Excel and other analytical tools.
• Independently manage multiple projects and customer requirements.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of OEM portals (Airbus, Boeing, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of change management processes (customer and internal changes).
• Good understanding of aerospace documentation and technical publications.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, parts lists, and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with SAP.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aerospace, Production Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing / Aviation / Defence.
