Job summary

Sun Pharma in India seeks an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant to lead payroll configuration, integration, and production support across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.

You will manage wage types, schemas, PCRs, EC-to-ECP data replication, testing, reconciliations, and go-live activities, ensuring statutory compliance and smooth payroll operations for a global pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate with strong SAP Payroll/SF experience.
• 6+ years in SAP Payroll/SF with ECP focus.
• Hands-on experience with EC-to-ECP integration and data replication.
• Proficiency in payroll testing, reconciliation, and go-live support.
• Knowledge of statutory payroll requirements and tax/compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors ECP implementation projects including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Perform hands-on payroll configuration including wage types, schemas, PCRs, payroll areas and calculation logic.
• Configure and support EC to ECP integration and data replication; monitor and resolve errors.
• Execute payroll testing activities: unit, integration, parallel runs, validation and reconciliation.
• Support payroll migration activities: data validation, cutover prep, go-live and hypercare.
• Ensure compliance with country-specific taxation and regulatory requirements; work with PCC to monitor processes.
• Analyze payroll discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and implement functional solutions.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, Time Management and IT to resolve issues.
• Support ongoing payroll operations, enhancements, and incident resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation and test scenarios.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in payroll configuration, implementation, integration, and production support. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to deliver effective ECP solutions, ensure accurate payroll processing, maintain statutory compliance, and support continuous improvement within a pharmaceutical environment. The role requires in-depth functional knowledge of SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors ECP, along with practical experience in payroll configuration, EC-to-ECP integration, testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

Areas Of Responsibility

• Participate in end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors ECP implementation projects, including requirements analysis, functional configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Perform hands‑on payroll configuration, including wage types, payroll schemas, personnel calculation rules (PCRs), payroll areas, and payroll calculation logic
• Configure and support Employee Central (EC) to ECP integration, including employee data replication, monitoring, and error resolution
• Execute payroll testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, parallel payroll runs, payroll validation, and reconciliation
• Support payroll migration activities, data validation, cutover preparation, go‑live execution, and hypercare.
• Configure and support payroll processes in accordance with country‑specific taxation, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with Payroll Control Center (PCC) to monitor payroll processes, investigate exceptions, resolve issues, and support payroll controls.
• Analyze payroll discrepancies, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement appropriate functional solutions
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, Time Management, and IT teams to resolve functional and integration‑related issues.
• Support ongoing payroll operations, system enhancements, change requests, and production incidents.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration records, test scenarios, and supporting project documentation and go easy with stakeholder discussions.
