Job summary

Oxford Placement is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead the safety function in a chemical industry setting. The role focuses on maintaining compliance with EHS norms, investigating incidents, and implementing global standards.

The incumbent will develop an EHS culture, manage risk and emergency procedures, liaise with government bodies, and supervise environment management, training, audits, and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Safety or Chemical engineering with DIS is required.
• 12–18 years of relevant experience in chemical industry and safety department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure compliance with EHS norms and regulations.
• Investigate incidents and suggest safety procedures/methods.
• Develop an EHS culture and implement global EHS norms.
• Lead risk and emergency management and mitigation guidelines.
• Liaise with government authorities as needed.
• Oversee environment management, training and audit activities, MIS reporting.
