Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Manager I, Applications Development to lead a talented team of engineers delivering modern, scalable web applications serving a large and diverse customer base. The role combines technical leadership with strategic influence over product direction and engineering standards.

You will balance business priorities with platform stability, mentor teams, and drive Agile practices in a hybrid work setting with in-person collaboration at the office for part of the week.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software and web application development.
• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong background building and supporting modern web applications using PHP, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience leading front-end and back-end development.
• Strong understanding of architecture, system integration, API design, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
