Job summary

TransUnion is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide a team delivering modern, scalable web applications for a large, diverse customer base. The role blends technical leadership with business impact, requiring collaboration across product, design, and operations.

You will drive frontend and backend development, architecture decisions, and API design in a hybrid work setting with regular in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software and web application development.
• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong technical background building and supporting modern web applications using PHP, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience leading teams responsible for both front-end and back-end development.
• Strong understanding of architecture, system integration, API design, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams in a fast-paced product development environment.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and growing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
