Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Developer, Applications Development to review and translate business requirements for technical feasibility and to tackle logical defects. You will articulate decisions across management levels and estimate task timelines while collaborating in a constructive culture where code reviews are routine.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in Java/JEE, React, and front-end tech, with exposure to Spring, Hibernate, Linux servers, and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in application development with Java EE and front-end tech
• Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML/JSON, and SQL
• Experience with UI design and React JS
• Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, and Linux/JBOSS/WildFly servers
• Knowledge of OO design patterns and CI/CD tools
• Nice to have Next.js and Adobe Experience Manager

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

Review and translate business requirements for technical feasibility and logical defects. Demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem-solving capability along with the ability to articulate the decision process to multiple management levels as it relates to both business and technical roles time estimates for assigned tasks. Works in a constructive and positive way to ensure growth for others Everyone's code is reviewed and everyone reviews code for others.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• At least 5 years’ experience in application development (Java EE, JSP/ servlets, Web services, JPA, Junit, React JS, Javascript) with exposure to high availability, data driven applications.
• Experience on Web Technologies - HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, JSON, Ajax, SQL
• Experience with user interface design.
• In-depth knowledge of React JS JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Good to have NextJS, Adobe Experience Manager experience.
• Experience in developing with spring and hibernate frameworks
• Experience in Linux and JBOSS 5x, JBOSS 6x & Wildfly application servers
• Knowledge of OO design and common design patterns, and can understand what the tradeoffs of the different approaches
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems including Maven, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Nice to have Harness experience.
