Job summary

Delhivery in Gandhidham, Gujarat is seeking an operations professional to manage manpower planning, shift rostering, and ensure SOP compliance and 5S standards on the shop floor.

You will monitor vehicle connections, coordinate with fleet for loading/unloading, and drive key performance metrics across inbound/outbound operations while fostering team development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manages the manpower planning & shift rostering as per the load projections and productivity targets.
• Compliance to the SOPs, facility 5S and overall upkeep of the facilities.
• Monitoring vehicle connections, availability and ensuring timely unloading/loading of vehicles. (metrics)
• Plan ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profile and coordinate with fleet.
• Maintaining the service levels and ensuring the performance metrics.
• Facilitate communication and coordination with different teams (such as commercial, security, fleet, last mile).
• Driving the metrics in their respective functions (inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, first mile metrics).
• HR/Employee related KRAs Diversity Hiring, Maintaining Employee Morale, Employee safety on the floor
• Mentors and works toward capability building of the team members
• Continuously explores process improvement opportunities and drives them to closure
• Implement industry best practices of shop floor management - Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma etc.
