Job description

Key Responsibility:

• Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers of metals (including intial audit and closures), polymers, or machined parts, building long-term vendor relationships.
• Cost Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and volume discounts to meet annual cost-reduction and budgeting targets.
• New product Development: Managing complete APQP cycle, Time management, Tooling development and Monitoring. Customer audit coordination and monitoring.
• Procurement Operations: Manage the end-to-end raw material and component purchasing process from planning to execution, ensuring on-time delivery for production lines.
• Supply Control: Monitor stock levels, track material movement, and optimize inventory turnover to prevent stockouts or excess holding costs.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with quality control, production, and finance teams to verify that incoming parts match strict automotive engineering standards.
• Risk Mitigation: Track market trends, raw material price volatility, and single-source dependencies to build backup supplier channels

• Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Pruriency in MS excel and PowerPoint.
• Core Competencies: Advanced commercial negotiation, data-driven analytical decision-making, and familiarity with automotive quality frameworks (e.g., IATF 16949 compliance).
