Job summary

IPE Global Limited, a development consulting group, seeks a qualified professional to lead project management, technical delivery and business development under the Urban Infrastructure vertical in New Delhi. The role involves coordinating with project teams and clients, delivering reports and proposals, and ensuring quality across utilities and transport projects.

Ideal candidates hold a graduate and a master's in relevant fields, with 4–7 years in consulting and at least 2 years in business

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Engineering or Technology is mandatory.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Project Management or Construction Management is required.
• 4–7 years of work experience in the consulting sector, managing utilities/transportation/logistics infrastructure projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in business development activities, including EOIs and Proposals.
• Experience in PPP and/or externally financed projects will be an advantage.
• Excellent English language fluency and presentation skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical delivery and project management under the Urban Infrastructure vertical.
• Travel to project locations and meet client teams.
• Support business development through EOIs, proposals and client presentations.
• Lead client meetings and prepare reports and presentations.

Job Description

The role will be responsible for project management, technical delivery and business development under the Urban Infrastructure vertical. Details of responsibilities for this role are as below:

Technical Delivery

• Management of technical delivery of consulting assignments.
• Travel to project locations, meeting project teams and clients
• Supporting/guiding project research and data analysis
• Preparing reports and presentations
• Managing inputs of key and non-key experts
• Leading key Client meetings and presentations

Business Development

• Identifying business opportunities and generation of leads
• Evaluating REOIs and RFPs
• Collaborating with other firms / partners
• Preparation of EOIs and Proposals including finalizing teaming, development of collaterals, preparing approach and methodology, attending pre-bid meetings and site visits; making Client presentations; maintaining follow-ups
• Travel for Client liaising and meetings

Project Management

• Managing hiring and staffing for new and ongoing projects
• Project budgeting and cost control, invoicing, recoveries, debtors
• Managing vendor inputs, invoicing, payments
• Preparing updates/presentations for management review meetings
• Developing and maintaining project MIS
• Managing project risks pro-actively
• Resolving project issues in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications & Work Experience Required

• Graduate degree in Engineering / Technology is mandatory.
• Masters degree in Engineering / Technology / Project Management / Construction Management is required.
• Ideal candidate will have between 4 to 7 years of work experience in the consulting sector, managing utilities / transportation / logistics infrastructure projects. Multi-sector experience will be an advantage.
• At least 2 years’ of experience in business development activities, including preparation of EOIs and Proposals is required.
• Experience in PPP and/or externally financed projects will be an advantage.
• Excellent English language fluency and presentation skills are mandatory for this role.

Travel – This role would require at least 20% travel outside base location (New Delhi).
