Job summary

IPE Global Limited in New Delhi is seeking an experienced professional to lead project management, technical delivery and business development within the Urban Infrastructure vertical. You will coordinate client meetings, manage inputs from key experts and guide proposals.

The ideal candidate has a graduate degree in engineering or technology, a master's in related fields, and 4–7 years in consulting with PPP or externally financed projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Engineering/Technology is mandatory and a master's degree is preferred.
• 4–7 years of work experience in consulting, managing utilities/transportation/logistics infra projects.
• At least 2 years in business development, including EOIs/Proposals; PPP/externally financed projects are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical Delivery: manage consulting assignments, travel to project locations, support data analysis, prepare reports and presentations.
• Business Development: identify opportunities, evaluate EOIs/RFPs, prepare EOIs and proposals, liaise with clients.
• Project Management: hiring/staffing, budgeting, MIS, client meetings, issue resolution, progress updates.

Job Description

The role will be responsible for project management, technical delivery and business development under the Urban Infrastructure vertical. Details of responsibilities for this role are as below:

Technical Delivery

• Management of technical delivery of consulting assignments.
• Travel to project locations, meeting project teams and clients
• Supporting/guiding project research and data analysis
• Preparing reports and presentations
• Managing inputs of key and non-key experts
• Leading key Client meetings and presentations

Business Development

• Identifying business opportunities and generation of leads
• Evaluating REOIs and RFPs
• Collaborating with other firms / partners
• Preparation of EOIs and Proposals including finalizing teaming, development of collaterals, preparing approach and methodology, attending pre-bid meetings and site visits; making Client presentations; maintaining follow-ups
• Travel for Client liaising and meetings

Project Management

• Managing hiring and staffing for new and ongoing projects
• Project budgeting and cost control, invoicing, recoveries, debtors
• Preparing updates/presentations for management review meetings
• Developing and maintaining project MIS
• Resolving project issues in a timely manner
• Any other project management tasks required

Travel

This role would require at least 20% travel outside base location (New Delhi).

Minimum Qualifications & Work Experience Required

• Graduate degree in Engineering / Technology is mandatory.
• Masters’ degree in Engineering / Technology / Project Management / Construction Management is required.
• Ideal candidate will have between 4 to 7 years’ of work experience in the consulting sector, managing utilities / transportation / logistics infrastructure projects. Multi-sector experience will be an advantage.
• At least 2 years’ of experience in business development activities, including preparation of EOIs and Proposals is required.
• Experience in PPP and/or externally financed projects will be an advantage.
• Excellent English language fluency and presentation skills are mandatory for this role
