Job summary

IPE Global Limited, a leading international development group, seeks an Infrastructure Finance Expert to provide financial and economic expertise for planning and appraisal of resilient infrastructure and risk reduction interventions.

The role focuses on evaluating benefits, conducting cost–benefit analyses, and supporting government reviews with robust economic justification and viable investment pathways.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in the field.
• Experience of working on at least one externally funded project (such as ADB, AFD, WBG, etc.)
• Prior work experience across Himalayan regions with exposure to multiple hazards in India, Nepal, Bhutan, etc.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the financial and economic benefits of infrastructure and disaster risk reduction interventions.
• Undertake cost–benefit and economic analyses to support investment decisions.
• Prepare and review financial and economic appraisal documents, models and notes for government approval.
• Provide inputs to prioritisation and decision-making based on viability, sustainability and value for money.

CA/CMA or MBA (Finance)/Master of Finance and Control /M.Com/PGDBM (with specification in Finance)

Role Overview

The Infrastructure Finance Expert will provide financial andeconomic expertise to support the planning and appraisal of infrastructure andrisk reduction interventions, with a focus on long-term resilience andefficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Overall Evaluate the financial and economic benefits ofinfrastructure and disaster risk reduction interventions, including assessmentof avoided losses and long‑term impacts.
• Undertake cost–benefit and economic analyses to supportinvestment decisions for resilient infrastructure and risk mitigation measures.
• Support preparation and review of financial and economicappraisal documents, models, and justification notes for government review andapproval.
• Provide technical inputs to prioritisation anddecision-making processes based on economic viability, sustainability, andvalue for money.

Educational Qualifications:

• CA/CMA or MBA (Finance)/Master of Finance and Control /M.Com/PGDBM (with specification in Finance).
