Job summary

ReNew, a leading decarbonisation solutions provider, is seeking a Manager for its Gurgaon portfolio. The role requires 8–10 years of experience in EEE, with a B.Tech/B.E. in EEE.

You will own tracker uptime, drive vendor development, and deploy new technologies across solar and wind assets. Key duties include safety compliance, robotic system deployment at wet cleaning sites, economic evaluation with BOM and financial models, MIS circulation, and LCOE reduction.

Qualifications

• B. Tech (EEE) or B.E. (EEE) from a recognized university.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in trackers, robotics, and solar assets.
• Experience in vendor development, predictive maintenance, and techno-commercial evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tracker LPF and uptime at portfolio level.
• Lead vendor development and management.
• Deploy new technology for out-of-warranty parts; benchmarking and POC.
• Ensure safety parameter compliances.
• Drive robotic system deployments at wet cleaning sites.
• Improve reliability and performance of robotic assets.
• Evaluate solar assets tech incl. battery tech sizing.
• Prepare financial models and BOM for solutions.
• Generate MIS for trackers and robots.

Key responsibilities:

• 1. Self-Reliance of Trackers.
• 2. Responsible for Tracker LPF & Uptime at portfolio level through design modification,Predictive Maintenance, Retro Fitting & Spare Management.
• 3. Vendor Development & Management.
• 4. New technology deployment for out of warranty parts by doing benchmarking, POC, D&E, Prototyping, Testing, Vendor Development & Mass Deployment.
• 5. Ensuring compliances of safety parameters.
• 6. Horizontal deployment of Robotic system in Wet cleaning sites by conducting feasibility study, Field trials & Techno Commercial evaluation of various Robotic OEMs.
• 7.Ensuring reliability & performance of 4GW Robotic assets.
• 8. Exploration and implementation of new technology for Solar Assets such as Hybrid Plant Illumination, BESS for Aux consumption reduction/Reactive Power Compensation/DSM compensation by doing benchmarking, POC, D&E, Prototyping, Testing, Vendor Development & Mass Deployment.
• 9. Evaluate the technical solution by preparing financial model along with BOM.
• 10. Circulation of MIS related to Trackers & Robots.
• 11. Engaged in Digital solutions related to Tracker shadow
• 12. Focus on LCOE Reduction.
• 13. Selection of Battery technology and sizing for various applications.
• 14. Evaluation and selection of global strategic partner for JV/Acquisition, vendor evaluation& development.
