Job summary

ReNew is seeking an Assistant Manager - Solar O&M to oversee site administration, performance monitoring, and preventive maintenance across solar assets in Rajasthan. You will coordinate with OEMs, manage spares and budgets, and ensure safe, compliant operation.

Lead a team to monitor SCADA/WMS, manage vendor contracts, and liaise with local authorities for smooth project handovers and continuous performance improvements. This role demands hands-on leadership in a dynamic solar environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar O&M or operations management.
• Knowledge of SCADA/WMS systems is a plus.
• Strong coordination with vendors, contractors, and authorities.
• Understanding of ISO/EHS standards and energy audits.
• Budgeting and spare parts management experience.

Responsibilities

• Site administration: Liaise with local authorities and ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Performance monitoring: Benchmark KPIs like generation, losses, PR, and availability.
• Preventive & breakdown maintenance: Supervise cleaning, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• SCADA & WMS monitoring: Track plant parameters and address abnormalities.
• Vendor & contract management: Coordinate with OEMs for spares and service requests.
• Inventory & budgeting: Manage spares, manpower, and maintenance budgets.
• Project handover/takeover: Ensure proper documentation and protocols.
• Community & stakeholder liaison: Engage contractors and local communities for operations.
• Compliance & audits: Ensure ISO/EHS standards and energy audits.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities ( Assistant manager- Solar o&M) Shift Incharge/ Second Lead/ deputy site incharge/ Site engineer

• Site administration: Liaise with local authorities (EB, admin bodies) and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.


• Performance monitoring: Benchmark and analyze KPIs such as generation, losses, auxiliary consumption, equipment availability, and PR.


• Preventive & breakdown maintenance: Supervise module cleaning, inverter troubleshooting, and corrective actions.


• SCADA & WMS monitoring: Track plant parameters, elevate abnormalities, and ensure system upkeep.


• Vendor & contract management: Coordinate with OEMs for spares, AMC, warranty claims, and service requests.


• Inventory & budgeting: Manage spares, manpower planning, and maintenance budgets.


• Project handover/takeover: Verify proper documentation and protocols during transitions.


• Community & stakeholder liaison: Engage contractors, suppliers, and local communities for operational support.


• Compliance & audits: Ensure ISO/EHS standards, statutory compliance, and energy audits.
