Job summary

ReNew in Gurgaon seeks a Manager to drive tracker uptime at portfolio level through design modification, predictive maintenance and spare management. You will lead vendor development, adopt new technologies, ensure safety compliance, and oversee robotic system pilots across solar assets.

The role involves evaluating hybrid plant options, battery sizing, MIS reporting, and financial modeling to reduce LCOE. This is a hands‑on leadership position with cross‑functional collaboration across

Qualifications

• B.Tech./BE in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in energy assets or utility-scale projects.
• Experience in tracker systems, maintenance strategies and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Self‑Reliance of Trackers and uptime at portfolio level through design modification, predictive maintenance, retrofitting and spare management.
• Vendor development and management.
• Deploy new technology for out-of-warranty parts via benchmarking, POC, D&E, prototyping and mass deployment.
• Ensure safety parameter compliances.
• Explore deployment of robotic systems in wet cleaning sites and evaluate technologies for Solar assets.
• Evaluate and size battery tech and hybrid plant options; focus on reducing LCOE.
• Prepare financial models and BOM for technical solutions.
• Circulate MIS related to Trackers and Robots.
• Engage in digital solutions related to Tracker shadow and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Self‑Reliance of Trackers.2. Responsible for Tracker LPF & Uptime at portfolio level through design modification,Predictive Maintenance, Retro Fitting & Spare Management.
• Vendor Development & Management.
• New technology deployment for out of warranty parts by doing benchmarking, POC, D&E, Prototyping, Testing, Vendor Development & Mass Deployment.
• Ensuring compliances of safety parameters.
• Horizontal deployment of Robotic system in Wet cleaning sites by conducting feasibility study, Field trials & Techno Commercial evaluation of various Robotic OEMs.
• Ensuring reliability & performance of 4GW Robotic assets.
• Exploration and implementation of new technology for Solar Assets such as Hybrid Plant Illumination, BESS for Aux consumption reduction/Reactive Power Compensation/DSM compensation by doing benchmarking, POC, D&E, Prototyping, Testing, Vendor Development & Mass Deployment.
• Evaluate the technical solution by preparing financial model along with BOM.
• Circulation of MIS related to Trackers & Robots.
• Engaged in Digital solutions related to Tracker shadow
• Focus on LCOE Reduction.
• Selection of Battery technology and sizing for various applications.
• Evaluation and selection of global strategic partner for JV/Acquisition, vendor evaluation& development.
