Job summary

Olectra Greentech Limited is seeking a Dy Manager/Manager Thermal /HV & LV Aggregates to lead supplier quality for EV components. You will oversee QA and validation of electrical assemblies, drive APQP/PPAP for launches, and establish metrics to monitor supplier performance and risk across the supply chain.

Coupled with cross-functional leadership, you will mentor engineers and help achieve zero-PPM targets while ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met in a rapidly evolving EV

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–9 years of Automotive/EV quality experience in MHCV environments.
• Proven experience in supplier quality, PPAP and APQP activities.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO quality systems and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA and validation of EV HV/LV electrical aggregates to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Drive APQP, supplier development and PPAP for new products and changes.
• Establish supplier quality metrics and manage performance against targets for quality, cost and delivery.
• Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments to ensure process compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO standards.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke initiatives to improve supplier quality.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Product Development, Manufacturing Quality and suppliers to meet launch objectives.
• Mentor Supplier Quality Engineers and drive a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Job description

Dy Manager/Manager Thermal /HV & LV Aggregates - Supplier Quality

Purpose

To perform Supplier Quality for EV HV/LV electrical aggregates to ensure supplier process capability, component quality, PPAP readiness, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements while driving a Zero PPM in Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Quality & Program Management

• Perform quality assurance and validation of EV HV/LV cables, wiring harnesses, switches, contactors, DC-DC converters, inverters, HVDBs, and other critical chassis electrical/electronic systems to ensure safety, reliability, regulatory compliance, and product quality
• Drive APQP, supplier development, and PPAP approval activities for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Establish supplier quality metrics and drive performance against PPM, warranty, delivery quality, and cost-of-poor-quality targets.

Process Compliance & Supplier Development

• Conduct supplier audits, process assessments, and capability evaluations to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.
• Review and approve PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, Process Flow Diagrams, and PPAP documentation.
• Lead supplier improvement initiatives th’ Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke methodologies.
• Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives through capability enhancement, process optimization, and adoption of industry best practices.
• Establish supplier development roadmaps and monitor progress against quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability targets.
• Follow-up with suppliers COP applicability parts & knowledge on PME drive/FAME localisation verification knowledge is essential.

Problem Solving & Risk Management

• Ensure containment actions, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using problem solving CORE tools methodologies.
• Resolve supplier-related manufacturing, field quality concerns.
• To provide solution and mitigate supply chain quality risks to ensure uninterrupted production.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with Sourcing /NPD, Product Development, Manufacturing Quality, and Suppliers to achieve quality and launch objectives.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and present key quality metrics, risks, and improvement plans to management.
• Mentor and develop Supplier Quality Engineers and build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 6 ~ 9 years in Automotive/EV manufacturing Quality in M&HCV environment
