Job summary

Olectra Greentech Limited is seeking a Dy Manager/Manager Thermal / HV & LV Aggregates – Field Quality in Hyderabad to ensure high vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction. You will monitor field performance, investigate warranty concerns, and drive rapid improvements across design, manufacturing, suppliers, and service functions.

The role involves leading field investigations, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing containment and preventive actions to reduce recurring failures

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical or Electronics with domain knowledge.
• 6-9 years in Automotive/EV manufacturing M&HCV environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve field quality performance of EV buses and chassis by analyzing customer complaints, warranty failures, and field issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for vehicle and electrical system failures using structured problem-solving tools.
• Review, validate, and ensure QA of EV HV/LV cables, wiring harnesses, switches, contactors, DC-DC converters, inverters, HVDBs, and other critical electrical/electronic systems.
• Lead field investigations and coordinate with customers, service teams, suppliers, manufacturing, and design teams for timely issue resolution.
• Drive containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring failures.
• Monitor reliability, warranty trends, and failure patterns; provide periodic quality performance reports.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, audits, and verification of corrective actions at customer locations and service centers.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory norms for EV systems.
• Support new product launches by identifying early-life field issues and driving rapid improvements.
• Facilitate supplier quality improvement initiatives for field-related concerns and component failures.
• Maintain field quality documentation, warranty records, and lessons learned databases.
• Provide technical support and training to service teams on quality-related concerns and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

Field Quality & warranty complaint Management

Problem Solving & Risk Management

• Ensure containment actions, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using problem solving CORE tools methodologies.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and vehicle telematics to decode faults, perform systematic troubleshooting, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Lead breakdown support activities to ensure quick restoration of vehicles, minimize downtime, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• To provide solution and mitigate supply chain quality risks to ensure uninterrupted production.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with Product Development / field service, Plant Quality, and Suppliers to ensure vehicle availability on-road.
• Mentor and facilitate training to service teams on quality-related concerns and corrective actions and build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering (with domain knowledge).
• Experience: 6 ~ 9 years in Automotive/EV manufacturing M&HCV environment.
