Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical Technology (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent).
• 12+ years of industry experience.
• Experience leading a team and delivering KRAs.
• Expert knowledge of international standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Allocate workload and manage reporting for the team.
• Be the direct point of contact after task allocation.
• Provide inputs to optimize the Selection Program for pumps in Allweiler India.
• Standardize processes and systems in technical sales and customer service.
• Review techno-commercial proposals and provide technical customer support.
• Achieve team KRAs and organizational goals.
• Drive process improvements and simplification initiatives.
• Provide technical assistance during detailed engineering phases for inquiries and projects.
• Analyze specifications and data to meet required performance.
• Define products and interrelationships to meet specs.
• Prepare estimates/quotes for non-price listed products and data.

Description

• Responsible for workload allocation, management reporting, assist team members on day-to-day activities.
• Responsible for team deliverables. Once a task is assigned to a team member, that team member will be the direct point of contact
• Able to provide inputs to optimize and improved the Selection Program for all types of Pumps in the portfolio of Allweiler India
• Focus on standardization of processes and systems in Technical sales and Customer Service.
• Review and assist in Techno-commercial proposals; Should be able to provide technical support to the customers.
• Responsible for achieving the team KRAs and organization goals for the team.
• Drive improvement activities in the team & involve in process simplification actions.
• Provides technical assistance during the detailed engineering phase of inquiries and projects through product applications and specifications to provide an engineered solution for integration.
• Analyses specifications, application data sheets, inquiry data sheets or other similar documents to determine if the desired specifications can be met.
• Defines the products and their interrelationships to meet the functional and performance requirements.
• Verified / Prepares estimates/quotes for non-price listed products and other pertinent data required to satisfy customer requirements.
• Maintains and improves technical competency, staying current with changes in the industry.
• Completes and maintains all required paperwork, quotes, quote log, and other required documentation.
• Learns and understands customer's requirements and application to make appropriate product recommendations.
• Evaluates inquiries and specifications to create formal proposals for sales managers, distributors, and other customers.
