Tetra Engineers in Pune seeks an experienced automotive engineer to lead and deliver technical projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

The role requires proficiency in CATIA V5 and NX CAD, PLM Teamcenter, GD&T, and APQP process knowledge; you will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and process issues.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in automotive industry with expertise in CATIA V5/NX CAD/PLM Teamcenter.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech) or Diploma in Computers; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of APQP process control plan development and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design issues through DFA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis).
• Develop 3D models using CATIA V5, NX CAD, or other software tools for BIW components, underbody structures, upper bodies, closures, tolerance stackup analysis, spot weld layouts.
• Conduct GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) studies for vehicle packaging optimization.
• Provide leadership support to junior engineers on PLM Teamcenter implementation.
