Job summary

Atul Auto LIMITED is seeking a BIW design engineer to contribute to body-in-white structural components, bringing design and release experience in BIW engineering and a solid understanding of joining processes. The role involves vehicle integration, packaging, and collaboration with other departments.

Candidates should have knowledge of homologation standards and be proficient in D-FMEA, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Experience in BIW design for vehicle bodies.
Hands-on experience with design release processes.
Knowledge of joining processes such as spot and fillet welding.
Familiarity with homologation standards.
Experience with vehicle integration, packaging, and assembly processes.
Understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (D-FMEA).

Responsibilities

BIW (Body-in-White) design of structural components.
Design and release experience in BIW engineering.
Good knowledge of joining processes (spot welding, fillet welding etc).
Knowledge in homologation standard.
Must have relevant experience in Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes of various parts.
Should have knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes.
Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (D-FMEA).
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with other department.
Work in team and support other team members.
