Job summary

Vesat Management is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead end-to-end talent acquisition for its steel manufacturing operations. You will work with business leaders to forecast manpower, build a sustainable pipeline and drive recruitment across managerial, technical and plant roles.

The role requires 7–10 years in TA within steel manufacturing and strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MBA in HR with 7-10 years in TA/recruitment, preferably in steel/manufacturing industries.
• Experience handling plant/manufacturing recruitment and large-scale technical hiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for steel manufacturing operations across corporate, plant, technical, engineering, operations, maintenance and support functions.
• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and build a sustainable talent pipeline.
• Drive end-to-end recruitment across managerial, technical, engineering, supervisory and critical plant positions.
• Develop and execute annual talent acquisition plans aligned with business needs.
• Build talent pipelines through portals, networks, referrals, campus hiring, agencies and industry networks.
• Manage recruitment for critical steel-sector roles including production, operations, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, quality, projects, safety and supply chain.

Role & responsibilities

Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for the steel manufacturing operations, ensuring timely availability of quality manpower across corporate, plant, technical, engineering, operations, maintenance, and support functions. The role will partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and build a sustainable talent pipeline.

• Drive end-to-end recruitment across managerial, technical, engineering, supervisory and critical plant positions.
• Partner with functional heads to understand manpower plans, skill requirements and hiring priorities.
• Develop and execute annual talent acquisition plans aligned with business and workforce requirements.
• Build talent pipelines through job portals, professional networks, employee referrals, campus hiring, recruitment agencies and industry networks.
• Manage recruitment for critical steel-sector roles including production, operations, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, quality, projects, safety and supply chain.
• Lead lateral hiring and campus/graduate recruitment initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA (HR)with 7-10 years exp in TA /Recruitment / exp in steel industry / steel / metals / manufacturing / engineering /

• Experience handling plant/manufacturing recruitment and large-scale technical hiring would be highly relevant.
• Strong understanding of the talent market in Chhattisgarh / Central India is desirable.
• Experience managing recruitment agencies and multiple hiring channels.
• Strong stakeholder-management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented manufacturing environment.
