Job summary

SBM Chemicals Instruments in Mumbai seeks an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics professional to manage import procedures, international trade documentation, order processing, and inventory tracking in compliance with GST. You will coordinate with sales, vendors, warehouses and transporters to ensure timely fulfillment and optimal stock levels.

You will oversee demand forecasting, replenishment, MIS reporting, and KPI dashboards while maintaining cost efficiency and minimizing stock-outs.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is essential.
• Experience with international trade documentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of GST and import compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage import procedures and international trade documentation.
• Oversee order processing, shipping/freight forwarding and insurance.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels with replenishment planning.
• Coordinate with sales teams, vendors, warehouses and transporters.
• Track customer orders from placement to delivery.
• Analyze data to identify gaps, delays and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and monitor MIS reports, dashboards and KPIs.

Job description

• Thorough knowledge of all import procedures, International Trade documentation, order processing, shipping/freight forwarding, insurance, inventory tracking etc and GST requirements.
• Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of SAP, MS Office, Excel and Power Point and preferably Chat GPT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supply chain planning, inventory management, procurement coordination, and logistics operations.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment.
• Monitor stock levels, demand forecasts, purchase requirements, and replenishment plans.
• Track customer orders from order placement through dispatch and delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors, distributors, warehouses, transporters, and internal teams.
• Analyze sales and supply chain data to identify gaps, delays, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and monitor MIS reports, sales dashboards, inventory reports, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure optimum inventory levels while minimizing stock-outs, excess inventory, and carrying costs.
• Support sales forecasting and align supply planning with business requirements.
