Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Chennai invites a supplier quality professional to join our platform teams.

The role focuses on confirming manufacturability from drawings, coordinating with the design team for first-time-right delivery, and identifying potential suppliers and rating them for right sourcing decisions. You will drive quality sign-off including SOR, CIR, and technical sign-off with platform teams, plan supplier processes (PFC, PFMEA, DFMEA), meet APQP Gateways, ensure proper fixtures

Responsibilities

• Capability Building of STA domains in platform teams
• Ensure future readiness by continuously upgrading teams with new technological skills
• Ensure a Technology roadmap is created along with COE and relevant SSU stakeholders using a structured forum and deploy them to live projects
• Improvisation of processes and systems through various means such as Digitization, IT enablement, Analytics etc.
• Create required domain expertise in commodity to help deliver on projects
• Supplier relationship management
• Manning/Resource Allocation - Enable platform teams to deliver on TCP objectives through optimal allocation of competent resources
• Solution Provider in conflicting situations - Provide solutions/alternatives in case of conflicting situations being faced by delivery team
• Help Debottleneck all System/Functional interface conflicts faced by the delivery team
• Ensure proper coordination between multiple platform teams while reaching out to a common supplier
• Confirm Manufacturability as per the received drawing
• Effective co-ordination with the Design team to ensure first time right and end delivery of product
• Interface with the Platform teams to identify potential suppliers, and rate Supplier technically for right Sourcing decision.
• Quality Target Signoff including SOR compliance, CIR and Technical Signoff along with Platform team and other stakeholders.
• Plan process at supplierÂs end and to prepare PFC (Process Flow Chart) and control plan, PFMEA, DFMEA etc.
• Meet the APQP requirements as per Gateways in line to MPDS.
• Ensure right fixtures, gauges and toolingÂs are planned for the development
• Ensure and meet the desired Quality levels as per Signoff
• Carry our MSA and SPC if required
• Joint PTR at supplier 'end with SQE
• Accountable for PPAP and PSW till handover.
• Wherever applicable, Development in line with defined CFPD norms.
• Concern resolution along with platform teams and SQE.
• Capturing of all Lesson Learnt along with Platform Team.
• To support the platform for meeting TCP deliverable.
