Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Description of the job and key result areas:

Function related:

• Â Capability Building of STA domains in platform teams
• Â Ensure future readiness by continuously upgrading teams with new technological skills
• Â Ensure a Technology roadmap is created along with COE and relevant SSU stakeholders using a structured forum and deploy them to live projects
• Â Improvisation of processes and systems through various means such as Digitization, IT enablement, Analytics etc.
• Â Create required domain expertise in commodity to help deliver on projects
• Â Supplier relationship management

Platform related:

• Â Manning/Resource Allocation - Enable platform teams to deliver on TCP objectives through optimal allocation of competent resources
• Â Solution Provider in conflicting situations - Provide solutions/alternatives in case of conflicting situations being faced by delivery team
• Â Help Debottleneck all System/Functional interface conflicts faced by the delivery team
• Â Ensure proper coordination between multiple platform teams while reaching out to a common supplier

Key Jobs:

• Â Confirm Manufacturability as per the received drawing
• Â Effective co-ordination with the Design team to ensure first time right and end delivery of product
• Â Interface with the Platform teams to identify potential suppliers, and rate Supplier technically for right Sourcing decision.
• Â Quality Target Signoff including SOR compliance, CIR and Technical Signoff along with Platform team and other stakeholders.
•  Plan process at supplier’s end and to prepare PFC (Process Flow Chart) and control plan, PFMEA, DFMEA etc.
• Â Meet the APQP requirements as per Gateways in line to MPDS.
•  Ensure right fixtures, gauges and tooling’s are planned for the development
• Â Ensure and meet the desired Quality levels as per Signoff
• Â Carry our MSA and SPC if required
• Â Joint PTR at supplier end with SQE
• Â Accountable for PPAP and PSW till handover.
• Â Wherever applicable, Development in line with defined CFPD norms.
• Â Concern resolution along with platform teams and SQE.
• Â Capturing of all Lesson Learnt along with Platform Team.
• Â To support the platform for meeting TCP deliverable.
