Job summary

STL Digital seeks an IT Infrastructure & SAP/ERP specialist to ensure reliable IT systems across plants. You will manage network ecosystems, SAP PP/MM, and ERP integrations while supporting IT security and ongoing project rollouts.

The role covers training users, coordinating with vendors, and implementing new IT applications to optimize plant operations. A manufacturing IT background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and smooth functioning of IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN and network systems.
• Manage IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
• Monitor IT systems and improve overall IT efficiency.
• Support firewall and network security requirements.
• Provide SAP & ERP support including PP and MM modules; user issue resolution.
• Train users and support during new plant implementation.
• Resolve SAP production and month-end closing issues.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, implementation and rollout of new systems.
• Work with internal teams, vendors and business users for successful project implementation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce IT costs.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives and maintain ISMS records.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Network

• Ensure availability and smooth functioning of IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN and network systems.
• Manage IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
• Monitor IT systems and improve overall IT efficiency.
• Support firewall and network security requirements.

2. SAP & ERP Support

• Provide support for SAP PP and SAP MM modules.
• Handle user issues and service requests related to SAP.
• Support SAP PP configuration and implementation for new plants.
• Support SAP and Logistics-related processes and integrations.
• Train users and provide support during new plant implementation.
• Resolve production and month-end closing-related SAP issues.

3. Plant Applications & Systems

• Manage and support plant-level IT applications.
• Manage Fleet Management System, Integrated Truck Management System (ITMS), RFID and related applications.
• Coordinate system integration and data flow between different applications.
• Monitor system alerts and ensure timely corrective action.

4. IT Projects & Implementation

• Implement new IT applications and modules as per business requirements.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, implementation and rollout of new systems.
• Work with internal teams, vendors and business users for successful project implementation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce IT costs.

5. Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Support information and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Implement security measures such as DLP, firewall and access controls.
• Support SCADA and plant systems from an IT security perspective.
• Maintain required IT/ISMS records and documentation.
• Participate in IT and compliance audits.

6. User Support & Training

• Understand user requirements and provide appropriate IT solutions.
• Conduct training for new systems and applications.
• Support users during system implementation and transition.
• Maintain good coordination with employees, management, vendors and contractors.
