Job summary

Skillventory in Umarsadi (near Valsad/Vapi) is seeking an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager to lead syringe expansion projects, oversee automatic syringe processing machines, and independently manage production shifts.

You will ensure strict adherence to cGMP practices, drive production efficiency, and coordinate with QA and regulatory inspections. The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing with hands-on automation and cleanroom operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing/production operations.
• Hands-on experience with automated production systems and cleanrooms.
• Understanding of cGMP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in shift management and production planning.
• Knowledge of BMR documentation and compliance practices.
• Exposure to audits and regulatory inspections.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and team management skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end execution of syringe expansion projects, ensuring timely completion as per defined project standards.
• Operate and oversee automatic syringe processing machines to ensure smooth and efficient production line operations.
• Independently manage production shifts in line with defined production schedules and targets.
• Ensure strict adherence to current cGMP practices in all processing, packaging, and material handling activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Science (Mechanical / Production / Chemical / Pharma or relevant discipline)
• Additional certifications in GMP / Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma will be an added advantage
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing/production operations
• Hands-on experience in automated production systems and cleanroom operations
• Strong knowledge of production processes and automation systems
• Hands-on experience in syringe or similar precision product manufacturing (preferred)
• Understanding of cGMP standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience in shift management and production planning
