Job summary

SV Management Consultants in Pune seeks an experienced professional to work on passenger car BIW structural parts, including side walls, underbody, and roof structures. You will apply GD&T and tolerance calculations and coordinate fabrication knowledge.

The role requires leading a team of at least 10 members, guiding body-related projects, and ensuring timely, high-quality outputs while adhering to regulatory requirements and CATIA-V5 design reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience with passenger car BIW parts and structural assemblies
• Knowledge of stamping, welding, and fabrication processes
• Understanding of GD&T and tolerance calculations
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for automotive body parts
• Ability to lead a team and manage projects

Job description

• Work experience in domain of Passenger cars w.r.t Vehicle structural parts like Side Wall, Underbody, Roof Structure, Front wall, Rear wall, CLOSURES, INTERIORS, TRIMS etc
• Knowledge of BIW joineries, stamping, welding technologies, BIW assembly process & fabrication.
• Good understanding of GD&T, Tolerance calculations, Part locating strategy, Manufacturing process & understanding of designing sheet metal, Plastic, Rubber, FRP, NVH & fabricated parts.
• Working knowledge of Regulatory requirements for automotive Body system parts
• Able to check the designs on CATIA-V5.
• Ability to handle independent Body related projects and responsible for individual team output.
