Job description

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 3-5 years in automotive BIW / Structure / Sheet metal Design.

Location: Gurgaon

Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working on complex engineering parts, ensuring quality and meeting project timelines.
• Work collaboratively in a team and support other team members.
• Responsible for detailed engineering design of complex parts in the project.

Desired Skills:

• Good knowledge of BIW (Body-in-White) design of structural components (e.g., door panels, body side panels, underbody panels).
• Proficient in CATIA V5.
• Strong experience in designing passenger car body components like roof, floor, side body outer/inner, doors, closures, etc.
• Relevant experience in master sections, vehicle integration, vehicle packaging, concept creation, assembly processes of various parts.
• Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of relevant regulations and homologation requirements.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience handling projects for leading automotive OEMs.
• Experience in team management and project delivery.
• Good knowledge of joining processes, e.g., spot welding.
• Willingness to work at various levels in a project organization depending on project requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
