Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead sheet metal forming simulation activities across all vehicle programs.
• Develop simulation methodologies for stamping feasibility and process validation.
• Perform forming analysis for panels, reinforcements, structural members, and closures.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and design guidelines.
• Support early concept assessments to improve manufacturability.
• Work with Product Design, Tooling, Manufacturing Engineering, and Vendors.
• Participate in Design Reviews and Gate Reviews.
• Support tooling tryout and production issue resolution.
• Establish simulation capability roadmap.
• Drive process automation and digital engineering initiatives.

Manager - Sheet Metal Forming Simulation

Lead all sheet metal forming simulation activities for BIW, closures, chassis, and structural components to ensure manufacturability, quality, robustness, and cost optimization during vehicle development. Responsible for establishing simulation-led product development practices and supporting concurrent engineering activities.Ensure First time right Design from Manufacturing point of view with complete ownership.

• Lead sheet metal forming simulation activities across all vehicle programs.
