Job summary

Linde in Kolkata is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10+ years of EPC project experience to lead end-to-end engineering, procurement and construction initiatives across multiple sites.

You will plan, execute and monitor projects, coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, quality, HSE and finance teams, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience with EPC project execution and management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale / complex EPC projects.
• Excellent project planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost-control skills.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of EPC projects from kick-off through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, HSE, Finance and subcontractor teams.
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, risks, changes and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project progress against approved plans and ensure timely delivery.
• Drive resolution of technical, commercial and execution-related issues.
• Manage contractors, vendors and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide project status reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements and applicable regulations.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Manage client interactions and ensure effective communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Support commissioning, start-up, final documentation and handover.
• Ensure effective change management and control of deliverables.

Role Overview

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in EPC project execution and project management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale / complex EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning activities.
• Excellent project planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost-control skills.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management and change control.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors and vendors.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; B.E./B.Tech preferred.
• PMP / equivalent project management certification will be an added advantage.
