Job summary

Sun Pharma in Mumbai seeks a Manager of Procurement to lead end-to-end purchasing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management for the Commercial unit.

The role requires strong collaboration with CQA, SSC, warehouse and API planning teams to ensure timely deliveries and regulatory compliance, with significant stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate (Science preferably) could include B.Pharm/M.Pharm.
• Strong experience in procurement and vendor management.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• PR to PO conversion to issue purchase orders promptly.
• Follow up with vendors on timely delivery, price inquiries and negotiations.
• Coordinate with CQA, SSC, Plant Warehouse, Plant Supply Chain, Plant QC/QA, IRA, and Logistics teams.
• Track-document management and change notifications.
• Support variation, renewal filings for existing APIs with COA and specs.
• Assist AVD projects and manage supply agreements.

Key responsibilities

1. PR to PO Conversion - Timely convert Purchase Requisition to Purchase Orders
2. Follow up with vendors on timely delivery of goods, Price enquiry, Base Negotiation, etc
3. Coordination with following stakeholders
   • CQA Team - Vendor Audit and VQ Documents
   • SSC Team - Payment to vendors
   • Plant Warehouse - Timely unloading of vehicle
   • Plant Supply Chain - Planning of APIs
   • Plant QC / QA - API Rejection, Approvals, etc
   • IRA - Form 10 approval.
   • Logistics team - Timely clearance of import shipments, import document to be upload online
4. Track-wise - document management, Change notification, etc
5. Support to Variation, Renewal filling for existing commercial APIs - Coordination with vendor for COA, Spec and other supporting documents
6. Support - AVD Projects as per need
7. Supply Agreement
