John Cockerill in India is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage end-to-end invoicing, order processing, and revenue-related activities within SAP and MS Office environments.

You will coordinate with controlling teams, monitor receivables, process payments, generate billing reports, and ensure GST and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Management: Prepare, issue, and track invoices to internal and external customers via mail, email or electronic systems.
• Preparation and Coordination: Prepare various types of SOA (sales orders) in SAP related to Billing; coordination with controlling teams for revenue accruals.
• Payment Processing: Track actual payments by customers and apply them to the correct accounts in coordination with banking teams.
• Account Monitoring: Track outstanding customer receivables monthly, follow up on overdue amounts and resolve billing discrepancies by communicating with customers.
• Reporting: Generate detailed reports on billing activities, accounts statuses, and payment collections for management review.
• Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure all billing practices adhere to company standards, GST and income tax compliance and support internal/external audits.
• Collaboration: Work with Projects, Stores, factory dispatches, Exim, accounts, GST, etc.
• Technical Skills: Use SAP, Email, Teams, and MS Office to manage financial tasks.

• Preparation and Cordination: Prepare various types of SOA (sales orders) in SAP related to various types Billing(ie GST/Debit /Credit Note/ Financial Invoices etc). Cordiination with controllingteams for revenue accruals and billing related matter.
• Payment Processing: Track actual payments by the customers and apply them to the correct accountsand maintain updated financial records in co-ordination with banking teams.
• Account Montoring: Track outstanding customer receivables on monthly basis, follow-up on overdueamounts and resolve any billing issues/discrepancies by communicating withcustomers.
• Reporting: Generate detailed reports on billing activities, accounts statuses, and paymentcollections for managenment review.
• Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure all billing practices adhere to company standards, financial regulations,GST & Income tax compliance and Catering to Internal and External Auditorsrequirement
• Collaboration: Work closely with relevant stakeholders such as Projects, Stores, factorydespatches, Exim, accounts, GST, etc.
• Technical Skills: Financial knowledge of SAP, Emails, teams, MS Office.
