Experience : 48 years in sales, of which at least 3 years selling B2C / D2C , e-commerce logistics (mandatory)
You will win new brands for Shadowfax's heavy and bulky D2C delivery business in the West: furniture, mattresses, large appliances, luggage, e-cycles and home goods that brands sell online and ship to customers' homes.
This is a pure hunting role. You will own a named list of large retailers and D2C brands .
Success in your first quarter means signed contracts and live volumes, not just meetings.
Key responsibilities
1. Build your own pipeline. Research target brands, find the decision-makers (supply chain, logistics, e-commerce operations, procurement, founders), and reach them through calls, LinkedIn, email, referrals and cold visits to head offices.
2. Run the full sales cycle. Discovery, lane and volume study, pricing, proposal, negotiation, pilot and contract signature.
3. Sell the full offer. Pitch heavy-parcel delivery, reverse pickups and the furniture and appliance assembly add-on as one solution.
4. Get pilots live and growing. Work with operations, pricing and onboarding so pilots start on time and meet service levels. Grow each new account to its target share before handing it over.
5. Keep the pipeline honest. Log every activity, stage and next step in the team tracker every day.
Forecast weekly against target.
6. Bring back market intelligence. Report competitor pricing, service gaps and lost-deals reasons so pricing and product can respond.
Not a fit on their own: B2B freight (FTL, PTL), freight forwarding, warehousing-only sales, courier franchise sales, or inside sales without closing responsibility. These count only alongside the mandatory B2C logistics sales experience.
