Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Manager - Reporting Operations Americas. You will lead the preparation and timely submission of monthly and quarterly regulatory reports for US authorities, and coordinate consolidation-related analyses across regions.

Qualifications include professional credentials (CA/ICWA/MBA/CFA) and 3+ years post-qualification experience, with strong US GAAP knowledge and advanced MS Excel skills.

• Timely preparation of other analysis requested by internal customers.
• Ensure participation in learning initiatives to upgrade skills.
• Engages with colleagues across regions; tracks risks and issues.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure consensus and responds to management queries.
• Provide timely reports on consolidation and interaction status, risks and issues.

• Preparation and Present templates for monthly and quarterly submissions to the US Regulators.

• Timely submission of monthly and quarterly returns to the Regulators

To be successful you will:

• A qualified professional (preferably CA or ICWA or MBA or CFA) with overall post qualification experience of 3+ years.

• Knowledge of USGAAP accounting and consolidation issues.

• Sound knowledge of the Financial/Banking Services industry, products, and systems.

• Flexibility, tenacity, and the ability tomaintainenthusiasm on long running or complexprocessre-design initiatives.

• Self-motivated and capable of working as part of a team.

• Very strongMS Office skills. (ability to use macros, arrays and other advanced excel formulas)

• Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

• Ability to work under pressure, report under tightdeadlinesand deal effectively with issues as they arise.
