Job summary

Live Connections is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager – Quality Systems to lead and sustain the QMS in alignment with IATF 16949. You will drive audits, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvements across the manufacturing plant.

The role requires 10+ years in automotive quality, with hands-on experience in APQP/PPAP, PFMEA/Control Plans, MSA/SPC, and cross-functional coordination for new product launches and changes.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in automotive quality or QMS leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end QMS implementation, maintenance and continual improvement.
Plan and execute internal audits, baseline assessments, management reviews and third-party certification/recertification audits.
Maintain and control Quality Manuals, SOPs, Work Instructions and process documentation.
Review and facilitate APQP & PPAP for new product launches and engineering changes.
Manage PFMEA and Control Plans for process risk analysis.
Drive MSA and SPC studies to reduce process variation.
Act as Management Representative for customer, certification-body and system audits.
Lead structured problem solving using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, CAPA and PDCA.
Monitor corrective/preventive actions and ensure long-term effectiveness.
Track quality KPIs including Scrap Rate, COPQ, Audit NCs and FPY.
Ensure compliance with CSR and statutory/regulatory standards.
Conduct training on IATF 16949, audit readiness and Quality Core Tools.

JOB PURPOSE
