Job summary

Mgrow Education invites an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the complete purchasing function from Bengaluru/Bhiwadi. You will plan procurement to meet production requirements, source qualified suppliers, negotiate terms, and release purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted material flow.

The role demands 8–10 years in procurement, preferably in cable manufacturing or related electrical industries, with strong vendor development and materials management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience 8–10 years in procurement/purchase, preferably in cable manufacturing or electrical industry.
• Strong understanding of raw materials and supply chain management.
• Experience with vendor development, techno-commercial evaluations, and cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete procurement functions and plan purchasing per production requirements.
• Develop, evaluate and manage vendors; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Handle end-to-end procurement of cables RM, PM,CM & machine maintenance electrical items.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, conduct evaluations and release purchase orders.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and coordinating with various teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and inventory commitments.

Job Purpose

Tosecureanuninterruptedsupplyofcorerawmaterials—suchascopper,aluminium,polymers,andarmouring components—attheoptimalcost,requiredquality,andexacttimetosupportseamlessfactoryproduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Complete Procurement functions.
• Plan Procurement as per production requirements
• Develop, Evaluate and manage vendors
• Negotiate Pricing, Payment terms
• Handle end-to-end procurement of cables RM, PM,CM & Machine Maintenance Electrical as per approved requirements.
• Source qualified suppliers, obtain quotations, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, negotiate prices and commercial terms, and release purchase orders.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and consumables such as copper/aluminium, polymers, compounds, insulation/sheathing materials, tapes, fillers, packing materials and other cable manufacturing inputs as per specifications, quantities, quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Stores, Quality, Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Finance for order execution, inspection, receipt, inventory and payment.

Secondary Role and Responsibilities

• Maintainsupplierdatabase,comparativestatements,purchaserecordsandprocurementdocumentation.
• Monitorsupplierperformance,leadtimes,pendingordersandmaterialdeliverycommitments.
