Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree; MBA preferred; 7+ years in Project/Transition Management; max 2 years in transitions projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan transitions in detail, including milestones and scope of processes to be transitioned.
• Coordinate and manage the transition of processes from local sites into the GCC.
• Monitor progress, report status, and resolve transition issues with risk mitigation.
• Document processes with quality reviews of maps and desktop procedures; ensure transition outputs reach go-live.

Job description

Overview

The transitions specialist works with the transitions manager to plan and execute one or more of the migration projects.

This position will be responsible for successful migration of specified roles into GCCThey will work across the team to ensure knowledge sharing and enabling the delivery team to be well prepared for the go live

Responsibilities

Plan transitions in detail, including identification and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, required tasks & scope of processes to be transitionedProvide feedback to TM/s on service design & solution documentationCoordinate and successfully project manage the transition of processes in scope from the local site/s into the GCC (Manage the transition on site)Collaborate with TM/s and local site managementMonitoring and reporting on transition progressResolving transitions issues, document risks and create mitigation plansProviding a link during transition between the GCC Knowledge Capture Team, senior level management, TM, other stakeholdersEnsure the appropriate documentation of the local processes, including providing a quality review of documentation (Process Maps and Desktop Procedures)Ensure correct application of transition methodology to each transition being managed by the TCEnsure successful delivery of transition outputs, including Decision Gates, Ramp Up & Go Lives, and the overall transition completion

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work with different stakeholders, excellent stakeholder management and client handling (domestic & international) skillsExcellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsProven ability to manage change in a fluid, dynamic and evolving environmentTrack record of excellent project execution / delivery preferred Understanding of metrics, process improvements, lean and six sigma would be helpfulProficient with MS Office – MS Excel and MS Power point in particular
