Job summary

APAR Industries in Vadodara, Gujarat is seeking a skilled Production Planner to prepare and monitor detailed production plans for Wire Rod, Cable, and Conductor manufacturing. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments to ensure on-time execution and efficient use of resources.

The ideal candidate will monitor material availability, manage inventory, and analyze MIS reports to drive continuous improvements and reduce lead times, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and business requirements.
• Handle production planning activities for Wire Rod, Cable, and Conductor manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Sales, and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
• Monitor material availability and initiate actions for requirement planning to avoid production disruptions.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and production capacity.
• Track production progress against plan and identify corrective actions in case of deviations.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods as per business requirements.
• Generate and analyze MIS reports related to production, inventory, capacity utilization, and delivery performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and reduce lead time.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards
• Experience in Conductor Manufacturing, Cable Industry, Wire & Cable Industry, or related manufacturing sectors is preferred.
• Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning.
